 PTA / Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:

• Follow individualized treatment care plans
• Measure performance and document patient progress towards meeting established goals
• Instruct and guide patients for appropriate exercise technique
• Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients’ specific needs using a variety of treatment techniques
• Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
• Motivate patients during treatment to help them function optimally
• Promote clients’ healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
• Consult and practice with other health professionals
• Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress

•  PTA / Physical Therapist Assistant Requirements:

• Graduate of accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• 1-2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license
• Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of Physical Therapy
• Knowledge of current treatment practices and drive to continually learn and grow
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism during stressful times
• Valid Driver’s License
• Background and drug screen
